Moving forward........

With the conclusion of yesterday's AGM and the election of a new president in Eric Lai, and his committee I think everyone can now put behind all the unpleasantries of the past couple of months and move on. Lets put our hands together and give the new team our wholehearted and undivided support to make their job easier for the benefits of all Paragonians.

I must also say a big Thank you to the past president, Mr. Chen Beng Jon for all that he has done for PHRA. Uncle Chen, you can have your rest now. We are sure Uncle Eric will continue your work with the same kind of passion that you had for the RA. Afterall, we all know Uncle Eric is such a nice and pleasant gentleman - very learned and hardworking too.

Yeah.. KUDOS to the outgoing president and welcome to the new president.
Was abit disappointing to say the least when the motion to proceed with the auto barrier was voted out.
Have been waiting for this for the last 3 years, was eagerly awaiting the go ahead.
I wonder why some ppl go around dis-approving this project for personal agenda/reasons.
Think how we would benefit from it from the ease of access, heighten security & not mentioning potential value appreciation.

Most premium gated communities have nice looking security frontage & auto barriers.
New buyers tend to be attracted to this and dont mind paying abit more to purchase these houses.
How come ppl are not far sighted enuff to realize this.... haih... sigh... penny wise pound foolish.
aiyo Rm250 so much money, what if i pay and other don't(i lose out rite), wat if barrier hit my car... ahaha
all the "wat if's", nuthin get achieved when no "ACTION nor RISK" is taken, just as long as its well informed decision is made w calculated RISK & mitigation actions are taken.
different strokes for different folks i guess.. how true...

Anyway i personally think that the auto barrier is a great facility to have and hope that the new committee with revive this projects asap.
Given that the RA has already the list of NO voters, might make sense to do a door to door to understand their concerns and explaining the project details again.
I think many has been mis-informed & mis-led by some evil dark forces that looms in Road 4...ahahaha
Its a waste if this goes away just like that, since more than 70% voted a YES, actually 50.1% tips the scale over NO???..ahaha..
95% quorum, the RA is just too nice to the residents but understand the complexities tt comes along with this tho ahaha

Aiyo! aiyo! lets not start this again. Let the new president and his team decide what they want to do . Dont do anybody any good to point fingers , right?. Lets move on. I think time will tell whether we need the autogate or not and perhaps that time is not too far away. Meanwhile, some former street leaders will have to go around doing refund. Well, chance to say " hello" to residents and perhaps an opportunity to help introduce them to the new street leaders. So lets enjoy our stay in Paragon.

I think you have learnt alot from this episode , I mean in term of knowledge gained on auto gate system, pricing, auto gate players etc etc. You have really put in so much time and effort on this. Its a pity that it fell through. Really if Paragonians cannot agree on this project, I wonder what we can agree on in the future especially when it involved $$$. Anyway lets meet up more often for our usual session of wine and dine and put all this behind us. So lets just be happy and dont worry. I am sure the new team under the able leadership of Eric will be able to do much more for PH.

In all cases where people need to spend money there will be those who are against it. 70% is a good number for sure. 95% is almost impossible, especially since those that are against spending money are more motivated to vote.

Durian!! Let's go!!

Ya! Durian. Lets go. When? Better eat durian, enjoy ourselves and build rapport than to lose sleep over spilt milk. Put the episode behind us and pls don't cry, baby PH8320 ok? Tears do not do much good to your eyes, it merely moisturise and make it puffy and red. Tears contains alot of salt only and no nutrients. so better to blink your eyes 60 times per minutes than to shed tears especially over something that is lost, though not forgotten.
So dreamtent, you gonna organise the durian party ? I want the " durian tidur", " durian kunyit", " durian musang", and what have you. so when? when? when? Don't go to SS2. I tried that before, but felt it was terrible becos they will tell you, " oh! this lot rm10.00, eat as much as you can. this lot rm15 per kilo and this lot rm23 per kilo". Chances are you will go for the others instead of the " eat all you can" cos you just cannot push yourself to buy those terrible all you can eat durian which are probably fit for making dodol only. Anyway is this promotion still on ar?
