Its party time

Come this Saturday and sunday, its party time again. The occasion is to celebrate the birthday of 2 little princesses - probably aged 4 & 5 . Only unlucky ones are invited. Those lucky ones who are not invited please do not fret, throw tempers or get even ha ha ( just a joke). Sometimes I think the adults of Paragon Heights are really taking advantage of the little ones to give us big guys a good time ( a joke again). Anyway, isn't it nice? this goes to show how close knit the residents of Paragon Heights are. Of course I won't say everybody knows everybody, but we try. Just the other night, we had a little drinking session at Uncle Yong's house ( Yong, Chen and me only) and they commented how I practically know the name of everyone in Road 2 - from the Adults to the kids and even their cats and dogs. Not their maids, please. Like we have Bobo in 59, JJ in 23, jackie in 27, Scobby (or Snobby as I call this cat) in 38, Wei Wei and Wei Lee in 26. Fyi these are their cats and dogs. Of course we cannot forget the noisy Joyce and that Jack Daniel ( or Rascal??)

So for those going to the parties this weekend, bring your wine along and please don't forget the kids too. Its because of them that we are going to have a good time. Cheers to the kids.

Aiya! which other day was that ar? Have no recollection - grampa's memory. Cant blame me la. We did have a wine party at Kim's house quite recently but don't know whether it was supposed to be a tea turned wine session. You would like to join us sometime?? We could organise one. I still have Wu Xia Pei, Mongolian wine, Dom, red wine, imperial wine, whisky St. Andrews blah blah.

The fun of getting to know your neighbors, that is important.
I remembered Danny told me that “You can choose your friends but you can not choose your neighbors!”

I found it quite true. To me, if you can not beat them then please join them. Chinese say that “far far away cousins are not close like your next neighbors”. In some extend, your neighbors could be your last line of defend.

If you are away, neighbors are the best person to keep your house guards. I see strong neighborhood here, a few incident, my house alarm got triggered then I got a few calls from my neighbors! What a good feeling when you have that!

True in a way... but I've had some not so nice neighbours before. I have yet to find any good neighbours around but I'm sure everyone is nice once you get to know them, right? hehehe... can't be making more enemies with everyone in the forum.

Having said that, I have some really nice and friendly neighbours like yours too... we look out for each others house when we're away.

Show up? No reason for me to show up yet.... maybe soon?
